In a meeting with UNOPS organization , the president of Kurdistan human right commission emphasize the importance of conducting training session for police officers on how to combat drugs due to its adverse impacts on society . This was the main topic of discussion with Mrs. Tanya Rajek , director of UNOPs program at Iraq. It is worth mentioning that Tanya Rajek has expressed her support for the work of Kurdistan human right commission. Also, both parties discussed logistic support for training session on the topic of drugs trade and rehabilitation to spread the culture of dealing with drug addicted as victims rather than criminals to integrate them within society. Another issue that was discussed is the topic of early marriage and its consequences. As well as discussing a policy to criminalize any marriage before the legal age of marriage. Moreover, Mr. Diya discussed cooperation with Baghdad human right commission to issue a human rights report according to geographic area. At the end of meeting Mr. Diya expressed his gratitude for UNOPS support to commission in building capabilities and capacity of Kurdistan human right commission to document and combat human right violations.
